Business Development Manager – Grocery
Full time permanent role
Starting salary:
£32,560.44 per annum plus bonus, company car and benefits

Diageo is the world's leading premium drinks business with an outstanding collection of international brands across spirits, wine and beer. These brands include: Smirnoff, Gordon’s, Guinness, Captain Morgan’s, Baileys, J&B and Tanqueray.
Working for CPM on behalf of our client Diageo, this role of Business Development Manager will be expected to lead a sales team in selling innovative brands and improving visibility and rate of sale of Diageo brands in the Grocery channel through off shelf display, point of sale, and implementation of category management principles.
The role involves the management of team and there will be a requirement to travel outside of territory to attend team meetings. Therefore, the BDM should expect to stay away from home as required as the role will involve field accompaniments and holding regional team meetings, as well as attending national meetings when required.

- Experienced in managing the development of employees, including working through Performance Management/underperforming individual. Adept at managing and resolving conflict - constantly seeks 'win win' outcomes
- Problem solver who proactively seeks to change processes and existing ways of doing things and perceptions for the benefit of CPM and Diageo
- Skilled at managing relationships across
- Presentation and Influencing skills
- Evaluation, analysis and report writing skills
- Good overall I.T skills
- Full UK Driving licence essential
